On this Special Day

Music and lyrics by Vicky Chi Yin Hui

On this special day,
If you are still here,
I think we’ll celebrate it
In a special way.

We may have a date
With only you and I,
Have some peaceful time
To count the blessings we received.

Walking hand in hand,
With waves among our feet,
Dancing all around,
Scribing on the sand.

Sitting by the sea,
Watch the sun goes down,
Whispering words of love
In each other’s ear.

On this special day,
If you are still here,
I think we’ll celebrate it
In a special way.

We may have a trip
With our family,
Doing something new,
Maybe camping in the wild.

Lying in the dark,
Beneath the starry sky,
Wishing we may find
A shining shooting star.

Pray that we can have
Another twenty years,
To see our kids grow up,
And have their families.

You’ll say we won’t be sad
When they all move away.
for finally it’s time
For us to enjoy our lives.

And you will keep your words,
Be always true to me,
And love me forever more!

On this special day,
If you are still here,
I think we’ll celebrate it
In our special way.

But on this special day,
Since you are not here,
I can only celebrate it
In my special way.

Like a Penguin

Music by Tiffany Wu and Vicky Chi Yin Hui
Lyrics by Tiffany Wu and Tinnie Wu

Waddle like a penguin. Waddle like a penguin.
Waddle like a little penguin one by one.
Waddle like a penguin. Waddle like a penguin.
Waddle like a little penguin in a line. (in the sun)

Hop like a penguin. Hop like a penguin.
Hop like a little penguin two by two.
Hop like a penguin. Hop like a penguin.
Hop like a little penguin in a line. (in the noon)

Swim like a penguin. Swim like a penguin.
Swim like a little penguin three by three.
Swim like a penguin. Swim like a penguin.
Swim like a little penguin in a line. (in the sea)

*Wrote this little song with my little Tiffany about 2 weeks ago.  We sang it to Tinnie and she was not happy that the lyrics are not rhymed.  And that's why we have those words in the bracket.  My daughters, I love you.

How are you today?

(To my dear David who’s been in heaven for a year.)
Music and lyrics by Vicky Chi Yin Hui

 How are you today?
I still say that every day.
Though I know I cannot hear your answer now.

How are you today?
I still miss you every day.
Still want to know you more and more,
Just like the days before.

By looking back the days we spent together,
By thinking of the words you said before,
By listening to the songs you loved to hear,
I keep you alive in my heart.

By doing things we loved to do together,
By going places you said you love to go,
By telling our kids what you did for us,
We keep you alive in our hearts.

Still alive, still alive,
You’re still alive in our hearts.

How are you today?
How I wish I can hear you say
That you miss me and love me as much as I do.

How are you today?
How I wish I can see you now.
How I wish we can be once again
Walking hand in hand.

By finding what you started but not finished,
By carrying on the work you left behind,
By trying to make your dreams come true,
We keep you alive in our hearts.

Still alive, still alive,
You’re still alive in our hearts.
Still alive, still alive,
You’re still alive in our hearts.

How are you today?
I will say that every day.
Until the day I can see you face to face.

I'm Only a Cat

Music by Vicky Chi Yin Hui

I'm only a cat,
and I stay in my place...
Up there on your chair,
on your bed or your face!

I'm only a cat,
and I don't finick much...
I'm happy with cream
and anchovies and such!

I'm only a cat,
and we'll get along fine...
As long as you know
I'm not yours... you're all mine!
